FGI - Federazione Ginnastica D'Italia

Italian Gymnastics Federation

A “golden” partnership since 2001

FREDDY has been the official technical sponsor and supplier of the Italian Gymnastics Federation (FGI) for over two decades. The partnership strengthened in 2002, when FREDDY became the official supplier in preparation for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. In Greece, FREDDY proudly supported and outfitted Igor Cassina in his gold medal performance on the horizontal bar, the rhythmic gymnastics team in their silver medal win, and Jury Chechi—an iconic ambassador—in his bronze medal success on the rings.

Style that empowers talent

FREDDY supports Italian gymnasts with care and dedication, offering high-quality technical garments designed for both men and women. The supply includes apparel for every key stage of an athlete’s journey: from daily training to official competitions and formal events. Each collection is crafted with innovative materials, breathable fabrics, and designs that follow the body’s natural movement—ensuring comfort, lightness, and full freedom of expression. FREDDY combines style and functionality to give every gymnast the confidence and performance support they need to express their talent with elegance.

Tara Dragas

Tara Dragas

Tara Dragas, a standout talent in Italian rhythmic gymnastics, officially becomes a FREDDY Ambassador, embodying the passion, grace, and determination that define the sport on a global level.

From her first competition at the age of four to her international achievements, Tara’s career is a testament to dedication and vision. In 2025, she claimed gold with ribbon at the Milan World Cup, bronze with ball, and the European title in the Team Ranking in Tallinn, Estonia.

In a historic recognition, the FIG included the “Dragas” movement in its official code, making her the third Italian athlete to receive this honor.

Alongside her individual achievements, Tara has earned placements in European Championships and senior competitions, further establishing her presence on the international stage.

The collaboration with FREDDY celebrates the art of movement and the ability to transform every gesture into an expression of talent and personality.
